A Big Surprise...and a New Boyfriend too?

I checked in as usual after my classes were over. I walked in to give Steve his daily medication and that's when he dropped a bomb.
"Guess what Nurse Brittnae?" He asked.
"What's that Steve?" I answered.
"The Penguins hawkye players are coming in taday for a visit. I get to meet Sidney Crawsby." Steve answered.
Since he was diagnosed, his health has really been affecting his speech.
"Wow Steve. That's great." I answered.
"Sidney is so cool. Last year he came and gave me a signed poster." Steve added.
"Cool." I answered.
"Nurse Brittnae do you have a boyfriend?" He came out of the middle of nowhere and asked.
"Sorry Steve I don't. There's only a friend of mine that is a boy and his name is Cam." I replied. I don't consider Cam my boyfriend. For all I know, he could only want me as a sleeping partner. That's why I hate men. All they want is sex.
"When Sidney comes in I am going to ask him out for you." Steve said.
"You do that. What do you want today for breakfast? Eggs or Pancakes?" I asked. I was beginning to get tired of telling my depressing lack of a social life. I was only focused on school and like that hockey guy would say yes anyway. From what I hear, girls just throw themselves at him. I would really want a boyfriend that gets that attention. Yea Right.
"Eggs puleez." He answered. I left to the kitchen to get him his breakfast.
When I came back, Sidney Crosby and Maxime Talbot were in Steve's room.
"See Mr. Crawsby. This is the pretty nurse I've been telling you about. The one that I think you should go on a date with." After he said those last words I ran out of the room full of humiliation. To my surprise, I was being followed.
